“West Kredit” has issued loans worth 10 million euros in the 1st quarter of this year
In the 1st quarter of this year, the financial services company A/S “West Kredit” has issued loans in the small and medium-sized enterprise segment for a total amount of 10 million euros, maintaining stable growth in the business financing segment. Over the next three months, the company plans to issue loans to SMEs and economic operators for another 20 million euros.
“We are pleased that by continuing the strategic development of the company, we can support the development of the business environment in Latvia, especially in the small and medium-sized enterprise segment,” says Artūrs Silantjevs, member of the board of “West Kredit”. “The volume of loans issued shows that the demand for financing in both this and the economic activity segment continues to grow, including the demand for alternative financing options. Considering that the demand for financing in the SME segment remains high in the 2nd quarter, in accordance with the company's strategic development plans, we plan to issue another 20 million euros over the next three months, promoting the further development of the business environment in Latvia.”
The construction and real estate development sectors, as well as economic activity providers, have most actively used the loans issued by “West Kredit”.
